Area 2 SWCD - Meetings

Area 2 District Issues Committee Meeting is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 17, 2024, at 10:00 am. Alleghany SWCD will be the host District and the meeting will be held at the Edwin H. McGee Natural Resource Center, 928 Fairplains Rd., North Wilkesboro, NC 28659.

Area 2 Northwest Envirothon competition is planned for an in-person event; you must register a team by Feb. 7, 2025, to compete. Please visit the Envirothon tab for more information.

Area 2 Spring Meeting is being scheduled for Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 9:00 am. Caldwell SWCD will be the host District and the meeting location is: to be determined.

Pre-registration deadline: TBD, mail your registration fee to: Burke SWCD, c/o Lea-Ann Branch, 130 Ammons Drive Suite 3, Morganton, NC 28655. You must pre-register, this includes payment.

Pre-registration Costs: $ 30.00 per person for District Supervisors, District, NRCS, and DSWC employees ($TBD per guest)

Registration at the Door: $35.00 per person
